Celebrating the Lunar New Year of 2026

On March 15, 2026 evening, the Four Seasons Arts Center held a grand concert “Celebrating the Lunar New Year of 2026” at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. Invited performing groups include Mei Mei Dance School, Georgia’s Dance and Arts Cultural Centre, Canadian Liyuan Society, and the Grow-In-Harmony Foundation.

President Alina of Four-Seasons Arts Centre gave a speech to expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Canadian federal government, community organizations, and numerous vocal enthusiasts for their generous donations and support. She also thanked the City of Richmond Hill for its congratulatory message and on-site support, as well as other participating groups. Special thanks to Artistic Director and Conductor Prof. Dong Hegang for his professional and patient guidance, and to all members for their collective efforts.

To ensure the quality of the performance, the team maintained a consistent schedule of rehearsing twice a week during the preparation period, continuously refining program details and improving overall coordination. The event was meticulously prepared and well-organized, with a lively atmosphere and all segments proceeding smoothly. The performances were rich and engaging, fully showcasing the participants’ dedication and artistic flair, and received unanimous praise and high recognition from the audience.

The success of this concert not only strengthened team cohesion but also provided valuable experience for future events.

The event ‘s Artistic Director and Conductor was Prof. Dong Hegang, and the piano accompaniment was provided by Li Yi. The concert hosts are John Song, Lily Shen, Richard Ma.

 

President Alina received a congratulatory letter from the Deputy Mayor of Richmond Hill, Mr. Chen Zhihui, which was presented by his assistant, Ms. Helen. Richmond Hill Councilor Mr. Simon Cui delivered a congratulatory speech at the concert.

2026年3月15日晚，多伦多四季艺术中心庆祝2026年农历新年音乐晚会在列治文山市艺术剧院隆重举行。受邀演出的团体有 梅美舞蹈学校，加拿大梨园社，Georgia’s Dance and Arts Cultural Centre, Grow-In-Harmony Foundation

Alina 团长在讲话中感谢加拿大联邦政府、社会实业团体和众多声乐爱好者的捐资和支持，感谢Richmond Hill市政府的慰问信和现场支持， 感谢其它团队的支持，感谢艺术指导和指挥董禾刚老师的专业耐心指导，以及全体团员的共同努力。

列治文山市副市长陈志辉先生向活动发送了贺信，并委托其助理Helen女士亲自送达演出现场。列治文山市议员崔志伟先生也发送了贺信，并亲临活动现场发表致辞。

为确保演出质量，团队在前期坚持每周进行两次系统排练，不断打磨节目细节、提升整体配合度。活动筹备周密、组织有序，现场气氛热烈，各项环节顺利进行。演出内容精彩纷呈，充分展现了大家的敬业素养与艺术风采，赢得了观众的一致好评与高度认可。此次音乐会的成功举办，不仅凝聚了团队力量，也为今后的活动积累了宝贵经验。
