On September 26-27, 2026, the annual autumn outing and Mid-Autumn Festival celebration organized by the Four-Seasons Art Centre was held at Curtis Points Resort, attended by nearly fifty choir members and their families. Thanks go to the Choir member Joan and her husband for their strong support.

The air was crisp and the maple leaves start turning red. We stepped into nature, breathing in the fresh air. One group was picking mushrooms, another was picking apples, and some were fishing.

For lunch, members brought their signature dishes: salted duck, roasted chicken wings, marinated beef, and various vegetables and fruits, offering flavors from both the north and south and plenty of delicious eats. For dinner, hosts Joan and Mr. Ping provided an amazing venue and a whole lamb feast. Members formed small service groups on their own: handling the whole lamb, making pastries, roasting large shrimp and chicken wings, cooking lamb soup in the kitchen, skewering lamb kebabs, and more.

The evening concert was even more exciting, featuring a full choir performance, solos, small group performances, poetry recitations, and dance. Teacher Dong’s performance of two songs, Chinese and foreign, truly brought the evening to its peak. Warm applause and cheers filled the air repeatedly. After that,  everyone gathered around the bonfire. Under the bright Mid-Autumn moon, singing and dancing with joy.
